N TV

NTV is an Indian regional Telugu channel launched on August 30, 2007. Sister channel Bhakti TV was also launched on the same day. It is described as South India's first devotional channel. The NTV stands for Next Generation TV. A fleet of eight DSNG vans, said to be the country’s first regional channel to have such a fleet, have been kept stationed for news gathering. NTV chief Narendra Choudary promises that their content and the way of treatment will not be different from other channels. The company recently launched India's first women's channel, Vanitha TV.


Most of the employees in Ntv are from ETv2. Mr. V.S.R. Sastry senior reporter and the Desk In charge of etv2, is now CEO of NTV. Mr. Ramachandra Rao the senior reporters of Etv, is the chief reporter in NTV. not only these persons, so many copy-editors of E Tv are working in NTV.

The same story repeated in NTv which happened in the past in ETv. Politics took major role in NTv. Chief reporter and the backbone Of NTv Mr. D.H.V.S.S.N. Murthy resigned by the politics. Mr.D.H.V.S.S.N. Murthy popularly named as Murthy who is a Postgraduate in LAW from Andhra University has played a major role in ETv at the time of Margadarsi Issue, by giving proper News items against Govt of AP., and gave big support to Ramoji Rao. Due to some politics, he has joined Ntv. After NTv got very good TRP Ratings, Mr. V.S.R. Sastry senior Reporter and the Desk Incharge of Etv-2, took charge as CEO of NTv which made Murthy to come out of NTv. Ramchander Rao has resigned.
